The Summer Course “Critical Theory of Law and Social Justice in the Americas” is aimed at professionals and university students from various countries who are interested in understanding the origins and evolution of Critical Theories and their main fields of application, proposals and contributions. to Social Justice in the Americas.

The Summer Course is organized by a consortium of universities and a research center in which the Faculty of Law and Human Sciences of the Catholic University of Uruguay, the Faculty of Law of the Alberto Hurtado University, Latina and Latino Critical Legal Theory ( LatCrit), Millennium Institute for Research on Violence and Democracy (VioDemos), Cornell University, University of Miami, University of Pittsburgh, Inter-American University of Puerto Rico, University of Florida, National University of Tucumán, Ibero-American University of the Dominican Republic, Institute of Latina/o, Caribbean, and Latin American Studies from the University of Connecticut and the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences (Flacso-Chile).
